Client demand has led Guernsey law firm AO Hall to establish a new specialist practice area of fiduciary. The new fiduciary department will be headed up by Paul Buckle. Buckle, who joins as group partner, will work closely with AO Hall’s corporate team to build the new department, which will specialise in trust, fiduciary and pensions. ‘This is a very exciting development for AO Hall and one that we have been considering for some time as we have an increasing number of clients who want us to provide them with legal support and expertise for their fiduciary and trust requirements,’ said AO Hall group partner, Sam Shires. ‘However, we felt that it was very important to have the right person to head up the new department and we couldn’t have found anyone more suitable than Paul. He has an exceptional reputation both in Guernsey and well beyond and an in depth knowledge of the trust and fiduciary industries in the Channel Islands. We are delighted that he has agreed to establish this new practice area,’ she added. ‘AO Hall has a demonstrable commitment to its clients and its staff and so I am very excited to be establishing the new fiduciary department which will complement AO Hall’s existing practice areas of corporate, dispute resolution, intellectual property and employment,’ Buckle said. ‘To establish a new department is a huge challenge but I am confident that with AO Hall’s existing reputation and the knowledge and experience that I bring, the fiduciary team will soon grow in number to meet the increasing demand from clients,’ he added. |
