Promotion at CF Midas Balanced Growth Fund

MAM Funds has announced that Mark Wright has been promoted to the role of deputy manager of the CF Midas Balanced Growth Fund. This announcement follows the recent promotion of Simon Callow to lead manager of the CF Midas Balanced Growth Fund.

Commenting on the announcement, Gervais Williams, managing director of MAM Funds, said: “Everyone who has met Mark will be aware of the skills he brings to this role. He has been supporting Midas funds from a research perspective for five years and this is recognition of the contribution he has made, particularly to the CF Midas Balanced Growth Fund.”

The team of fund managers at Midas brings together a wide range of skills, with the strengths of each individual complimenting the rest of the team. Alan Borrows and Richard Parfect will continue to work together on the CF Midas Balanced Income Fund.

Recently, Hargreaves Lansdown made the CF Midas Balanced Growth Fund its Fund of the Week.

Wright joined Midas Capital Partners Ltd in September 2006 after graduating from the University of York with a BSc degree in Economics. He has since completed his IMC. Mark’s primary focus was initially on the portfolio’s structured product allocation, although his research and analysis has since expanded to cover most asset classes.
