As the end of the year approaches – yes, Christmas really is just around the corner - it is time for the Investment International Finance Awards. The closing date for voting is 31 December 2009 and the winners will be announced in February 2010. Full details of how to vote appear on the website.

For more than 20 years the Awards have acknowledged the expertise and professionalism of the organisations involved in international investment. The number and diversity of the awards reflect the nature of the industry. At a time of economic downturn in the UK, investment overseas is increasingly attracting attention. The range of activity in the area is matched by the expertise and knowledge of the participating organisations.

The Awards were established to allow the customer to recognise and commend excellence and innovation within the international finance product range. Not surprisingly, Award categories have changed over time. New products have come into the market and the age of the internet has meant product providers have had to develop their offerings to cater for a newer and more sophisticated customer. From established onshore companies with an international presence to specialist offshore firms, all work to extremely high standards and offer a range of services fully equal to those of their onshore compatriots.

Nominations for the 2009 Awards are based on many aspects, such as asset performance, level of service and innovation of products.
