Alliance and Leicester International launches highly competitive fixed rate bond

Alliance and Leicester International Limited (ALIL), the offshore savings bank, has launched a new, limited edition One Year Fixed Rate Bond (issue 25).

The new addition has a highly competitive fixed interest rate of 5.10 per cent.

Customers can deposit between 5, 000 and 1, 000, 000 into the bond, which will mature on 30 June 2007.

As with all previous issues, savers can choose to have their interest paid on the maturity of the Bond or on a monthly basis.

Interest can be paid wither by transfer into another ALIL account, or by transfer to a bank or building society account in the Isle of Man, UK or the Channel Islands.
