Fidelity International has unveiled an OEIC version of its offshore Emerging Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) fund, which was launched last June, to target those wanting a commodities-based investment.

The UK domiciled EMEA fund, headed by Nick Price, will hold between 50 and 70 stocks and aims to generate long-term capital growth for investors. It will be benchmarked against the MSCI Emerging EMEA Index.
The offshore version has already achieved returns of 22.5% in its first six months since launch, and Fidelity is backing the EMEA region to continue to gain from growing Asian economies.
The funds minimum investment is 1,000 for lump sum investments or 50 per month, with a 3.5% initial charge and 1.5% annual management charge. The fund can be held within an ISA, PEP, SIPP or investment bond wrapper.
