The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) has this week announced plans to support their rapid business growth across the UK by recruiting up to 10 new International Investment Advisors, all based in their key financial centre in London.

Over the past 12 months the RBC has had impressive business growth and this ambitious new move to develop their Advisory business is designed to meet the growing demand for personalised investment advice.

This introduction forms part of a global initiative for the RBC to increase the number of International Investment Advisors they currently have on board, all with their own established client bases, and will take place over the next 5 years.

David Miller, Head of Advisory London for the RBC has said, The International Advisory Group has grown from start-up 10 years ago to now account for 20 per cent of RBCs international private banking business by revenue. He believes that this new development in their UK team will help the company better satisfy current client demand, while adding to the long-term growth of the business.

The International Advisory Service allows clients to work with their own personal advisor in order to design, construct and monitor a porfolio of international securities and currently operates in 10 offices worldwide.
