Ukraine might lure new investors

Ukraine could well appeal to anyone looking to invest in property abroad, according to one expert

Liam Bailey, from overseas investment specialists David Stanley Redfern said that with its "beautiful coastline" and "low cost of living", property in the country could be very attractive.

He said: "Ukraine is the same as the rest of these eastern European states. They are all becoming big at the moment."

Bailey added that its popularity with tourists could well make it an ideal place for buy-to-let investors.

He said: "Its a very good holiday destination so, especially in peak season, the places on the cost will be great holiday spots."

There are also skiing resorts in the Ukraine, he said, saying that there were "some really good deals" available in these areas.

Ukraine is the 34th largest country in the world and is located in the south-eastern part of the east European plain.
