Offshore Banking Opportunities

The banking and financial sector in the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States is to receive a grant of US$81,900 to assist the region in becoming financially competitive on a global scale.

The announcement was made last month at the annual general meeting of the Eastern Caribbean Institute of Banking and Financial Services held at Grenada’s Grand Beach Resort.

Offshore Banking Opportunities - Part Of The Project

As part of the project, 25 people will be trained on how to implement human resource development programmes and strategic plans in order to reduce risks and enhance global competitiveness. Included in the project will be training opportunities for 250 young people throughout the OECD to prepare them for employment in the fields of banking, insurance and finance.
