Date: 23rd April 2009 The Publishing Group toasts a successful first year The Publishing Group, publisher of Mortgage Introducer, is celebrating its first anniversary today, Thursday 23rd April 2009. The company may only just be celebrating its first year, but the expertise behind it cannot be matched. The team behind The Publishing Group has almost 60 years’ experience in financial publishing, led by Ramesh Sharma, Managing Director. The Publishing Group partners also include Nia Williams, Editorial Director, Marco Callegari, Head of Sales and Marketing and Andrew Goldsmith, Finance Director. Commenting on behalf of the company partners Andrew Goldsmith, said: “The first year for The Publishing Group has been remarkably successful given the financial environment that we have been operating in. “In this time we have further developed the Mortgage Introducer brand, re-launched Investment International magazine in printed format and redeveloped its website, www.investmentinternational.com, and also re-launched the www.homebuying.co.uk website. “What is more we have managed to make a profit of £42,000 while writing off all these development costs, so we go forward into our second year with confidence in both our products and financial position.” The Publishing Group has been very productive over the past year. The monthly magazine, Investment International, has been in production for over 25 years but was relaunched in 2008 with a new design. The Publishing Group put its own stamp on the website, www.investmentinternational.com, which was also redesigned in November 2008. Nia Williams, Editorial Director said: “I am looking forward to 2009 and 2010 as being years of further growth, developing our brands and looking for new opportunities to buy. “I must also say that the continuing support of our Chairman, Douglas Moffitt, has been invaluable. And I must also take this opportunity to say a big thank you to you, our readers and advertisers alike, for your help in making this a year to remember!” The Publishing Group looks forward to many more successful years to come.
